Image source: Indian Express Vin Diesel is one of the most successful performers in the world, coming in at #7 last year on Forbes' list of 2016's highest-paid actors. His huge paydays are a result of box office performance few other stars can even dream of approaching -- with this year's Fate of the Furious, Diesel's films will have amassed more than $6 billion over the past decade (2008 through 2017). And when Guardians of the Galaxy takes over the box office in May, the actor's tally will approach or surpass $7 billion by year's end. This puts Vin Diesel in an elite grouping of megastars with a decade of movies totaling in the $5+ billion range. The performer with what seems to be the largest total global box office for the past 10 years is Scarlett Johansson, who has a staggering $8.3 billion. In second place comes Robert Downey Jr. with an $8.1 billion cume that will climb toward $9 billion once Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters this July.
